Simon Property Group declared a $1.046875 quarterly distribution for its 8 3/8% Series J Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock, setting a Dec. 31 payment date for investors.

Simon announced the distribution in its Nov. 5 third-quarter results release. The shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange as SPGPrJ.

The amount is unchanged from the previous quarterly payment, which was due Sept. 30, according to Simon’s Aug. 10 second-quarter results release.

The preferred-stock distribution is separate from Simon’s $2.30-per-share common-stock dividend, also scheduled for Dec. 31. The common dividend has a Dec. 10 record date; EconoTimes previously covered it in its report on Simon’s third-quarter results.

A holder must be on the shareholder register Dec. 17 to qualify for the preferred payment. Simon has scheduled the distribution for Dec. 31.
