Leading bitcoin payment processor BitPay has announced that it has added support for Coinbase bitcoin exchange to the version 1.3.0 of its secure bitcoin wallet, making it easy for users to send bitcoin to a bitcoin address they control.
“Coinbase is one of the popular sites for buying and selling bitcoin today. Now, if you have a Coinbase account, just link it up to your BitPay app to start buying and selling bitcoin directly to and from addresses you control”, BitPay said.
It further said that using Coinbase with the BitPay app will enable users to get fast, convenient access for purchasing bitcoin from a debit card, credit card, or bank account while still maintaining full control and privacy over transactions from their bitcoin wallet.
In addition, BitPay said that it has also added several new language translations for the BitPay wallet app, including Spanish, French, Chinese, and German.
“This has been a major feature request for the BitPay wallet app, so we're glad to deliver it in this release for these speakers (and for bitcoin users practicing their multi-linguistic skills)”, it added.
