Bitcoin (BTC) was quoted below 82,000 against Tether (USDT) on Monday despite a 0.65% gain over 24 hours, putting its price on one side of the threshold and its daily performance on the other.
The quote was 81,987.5 USDT, or 12.5 USDT under 82,000. It appeared in a report published at 3:21 p.m. ET on Oct. 19. The positive 24-hour change indicates that Bitcoin remained above its level from a day earlier.
On Oct. 15, BTC was above 82,000 USDT and had gained 0.24% over the previous 24 hours. Monday’s reported daily increase was larger, though its quoted price was below the level recorded four days earlier.
A separate Oct. 19 market update placed Bitcoin near $82,800 after a weekend dip below $82,000. That reading showed a gain of about 1.5% over 24 hours. The two Monday reports captured different market snapshots.
