The hype surrounding “Black Clover” Chapter 199 is reaching new heights as the story has now introduced a new race: dark elves. The demon who’s been behind all the struggles of the elves managed to completely manipulate Patry and use his emotions to dive him into spiraling despair.
This transformed his grimoire into a five-leaf clover variant, which the demon takes. It also corrupted him to a point that he became a dark elf, a being consumed with hatred and hopelessness. If Asta and Yuno want to reach the demon in “Black Clover Chapter” 199, then they still need to go through Dark Elf Patry.
And while the combination of Asta and Yuno may have been an overwhelming match for anyone in the series, this new powers they’re up against are a whole different matter. To make matters worse, it seems that “Black Clover Chapter” 199 will have Patry use devastating magic.
The spell in question is the very same magic Patry used when he was battling Yami. And for those who think that Asta might be able to nullify this magic, it’s already been established that if he tries to pull such a stunt, only his anti-magic sword will survive the blast. To put briefly, everyone within the vicinity of the unfolding conflict is in grave danger. Of course, the main characters are all safe at the moment and it’s unlikely that Tabata will kill them in “Black Clover Chapter” 199.
The question now becomes: how will Asta and the rest of the group stop Patry’s incoming attack? And even if they did, they still need to deal with the manipulative demon that is ridiculously strong. With all these unanswered questions hanging on everyone’s head, it’s no wonder that “Black Clover Chapter” 199 is a much-awaited release by the series’ fan base. Fortunately, readers won’t have to wait long as the upcoming chapter is scheduled to drop on March 31.
