‘Black Clover’ Episode 65 Air Date, Spoilers: Vanessa Leaves the Witch Queen to Join Black Bulls

“Black Clover” episode 65 is expected to focus on Vanessa who will later become an official member of the Black Bull squad. This means she will be leaving the Witch Queen as well as the Witches’ Forest, which is quite ironic since the episode’s title is “I’m Home.”

It can be recalled that the Witch Queen managed to control Asta in his demon form in episode 64. Asta, not being aware of his actions, almost killed all his friends. Luckily, Vanessa stepped in using her power against the Witch Queen to break the spell controlling Asta. But “Black Clover” episode 65 will be a laid-back installment and no further fights are expected to occur.

Before “Black Clover” episode 65, Vanessa used her Red Thread of Fate spell that canceled the Witch Queen’s magic and disabled her from controlling Vanessa and Asta. She then explained that the Witch Queen is no longer a family for her, which is why her magic worked.

Later in “Black Clover” episode 65, anime viewers can expect Vanessa to declare her desire to leave the Witches’ Forest and join the Black Bulls back to the Clover Kingdom. On a good note, Vanessa and the Witch Queen will part ways on good terms. The Witch Queen tells her that Vanessa may come back and leave the Witches’ Forest whenever she likes even in the future because it will forever be her home.

Meanwhile, in the middle of Vanessa and Witch Queen’s farewell, Nero the Anti-bird will direct everyone’s attention in “Black Clover” episode 65 to the Witch Queen’s earrings. It will be the signal for her to explain that it is a magic stone and how the elves are the ones who have mastered its power. Note that the elves will be the Black Bulls main opponents in an upcoming major arc.

“Black Clover” episode 65 will likely cover the events of Black Bulls’ return to the Clover Kingdom. Apart from Asta’s group from the Witches' Forest, other squad members will also arrive back in their home including Magna, Voltia, Gauche, and Gordon. All four characters will be initially saddened that they did not find something to heal Asta’s arm but they will regain their joy and usual attitude once Asta reveals he is already healed.

With no mission at hand, the Black Bulls will be attending the Star Awards Festival where Asta meets Kiato whose leg has yet to be healed. This is where Asta will bring out the magic that Witch Queen gave him and help Kiato get his leg back to normal. “Black Clover” episode 65 will air on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
