It has been a while since Henry Legolant showed up in the anime series, but he sure had a great entrance in the previous installment. His arrival is a clear hint at an upcoming fight in “Black Clover” episode 90 between some of the Black Bulls and members of the Eye of the Midnight Sun Rades Spirito, Sally, and Valtos.
The attack of the Black Bulls hideout started in episode 89. All the ruckus and the damages done over the headquarters activated an alarm that woke up Henry. However, Gauche, Gordon, and Grey have no idea who Henry is. But his entrance is surely going to be a fun sequence. While the other three does not know who he is, Henry refers to them by name in “Black Clover” episode 90 that only increases their confusion.
Henry will reveal his name, but it will not be easy as he gets distracted from recalling a certain memory with Yami. If this part is adapted into anime in “Black Clover” episode 90, fans can expect a little bit of flashback at how Yami acquired the Black Bulls hideout. It is a precious recollection convincing Henry that, even if he does not personally know the three, they are his friends and he will fight with them.
That and the motivation of Gauche and Gordon for remembering that the Black Bulls is the only group that accepted them will be enough to defend their territory. But the members of the Eye of the Midnight Sun will certainly put up a fight. However, if this fight will conclude in “Black Clover” episode 90, it will be revealed that the enemies are not there to kill any of them. They attacked the hideout to retrieve something important to their evil plans.
Throughout the fight, Henry will showcase his ability to rearrange the rooms in the hideout and transform it into different creatures to help them in the fight. In the end, the villains will get the magic stone they are after and leave the four protagonists unharmed, but the hideout wrecked. “Black Clover” episode 90 will be released on Tuesday, July 2.
