“Black Clover” chapter 248 is up next but it will not be released this week as scheduled. The delay is not because of Yūki Tabata but the company that publishes it suspended work starting this week.
Shonen Jump announced on April 11 that it is taking a break and like the others, it has something to do with the coronavirus pandemic. It was learned that Shenhua’s offices were closed off as one of its staff was suspected of having COVID-19 thus the whole editorial department’s works were suspended for the meantime. “Shonen Jump is taking a break on April 19, but we’ll be back the following week!” the announcement reads.

In any case when “Black Clover” chapter 248 returns, it will show the Heart Kingdom under attack as the dark triad advanced to their territory. Vanica is leading the raid and it is unfortunate that Lolopechka is currently away from the Kingdom.
With Vanica’s devil powers, everyone in the dark triad was turned into first stage mage so they have the power to beat even the spirit guardians that are defending the Hearts kingdom. It is yet to see it Vaniaca’s men will be defeated by warriors in the kingdom before Lolopechka arrives.
Lolopechka is after all, Vanica’s main target. If Luck will not be able to defend the Heart Kingdom and protect it from the villain’s henchmen, the whole kingdom will be in ruins. Luck should at least hold out until help comes since if he will let the bad guys win, that will be their end and a full victor for the dark triad.
This is actually a scary fight because the members of the dark triad are not even using their full devil’s power. What will happen if they decided to go all-out and use all of their 100 percent power in “Black Clover” chapter 248? Perhaps, all the enemies of the dark triad should come together and wage a war.
Release date
Meanwhile, as mentioned before “Black Clover” chapter 248 will be delayed so there is no story this week. Instead, it will be out on April 26 as per Otakukart. The raw scans will still be published like in the regular schedule which is two days prior to the official release date so this means it will be available on April 24.
