The coming weeks, starting with “Black Clover” episode 130, are going to be important. The anime series is expected to provide original content before it features the major timeskip in the manga. One way this could be tackled is by having filler episodes focused on the training of magic knights before they enter a war.
‘Black Clover’ episode 130 spoilers, predictions
Anime-only fans might not be aware, but episode 129 (airing on April 7) will cover the last chapters before the major timeskip. It should also be noted that there are only 18 chapters not covered in the anime series after the events in episode 129. This means having anime-original content is inevitable starting on “Black Clover” episode 130.
The only question is what stories will be added to the series before they animate the timeskip and the war among the magic kingdoms. Many fans have been suggesting that, from “Black Clover” episode 130 onward, the anime should show how the magic knights train under the guidance of Heart Kingdom’s princess Lolopechka.
As viewers will see in episode 129, Lolopechka and Julius Novachrono will unite against the devil Megicula residing in the Spade Kingdom. Magic knights from the Clover Kingdom, namely Asta, Nero, Noelle, Finral, Mimosa, Leopold, Charlotte, Rill, Charmy, Luck, Zora, and Yuno will be lent to the Heart Kingdom to train to defeat the devil.
However, the manga did not show how these characters prepared before they attacked the Spade Kingdom. It then makes sense to have their training be the focus of the anticipated filler episodes. This way, “Black Clover” episode 130 and subsequent installments would still have canon stories.
‘Black Clover’ episode 130 release date
There is also a possibility that the anime will not feature the much-requested arc. But what’s clear at this point is that the TV series will need fillers until there is a comfortable gap between the manga and the anime again.
There is no announcement yet if the anime series is going on hiatus after it wraps up the current story arc since that is also an option. Until a break is announced, fans can expect new episodes to still arrive every Tuesday. This means “Black Clover” episode 130 could be released on April 14.
