‘Blindspot’ season 2’s episode 14, titled “Borrow or Rob,” is set to feature the team as they enlist Rich Dotcom’s help in order to infiltrate a secret society to solve one of Jane’s tattoos.
The synopsis for “Borrow of Rob” posted on TV Guide states, “A secret society must be infiltrated by the team in order to solve a tattoo, but to gain access to the society, they need help from one of its alumni—Rich Dotcom (guest star Ennis Esmer).”
Rich Dotcom, whose real name is Gord Enver, was a former computer programmer turned tech mercenary. He later realized that he could become a billionaire with the belief that Bitcoin would revolutionize the future.
Esmer’s character was first introduced in season 1’s episode 9, titled “Authentic Flirt,” as a prime suspect in a leaking incident investigated by Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt (Sullivan Stapleton). It seems that the tides would turn as the team seeks his assistance in order to gain entry into a secret society where he is a member.
Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi) and his team will try to solve another one of Jane’s tattoos and will need to access the secret society for answers. The promotional photographs for episode 14 posted on Spoilers Guide shows Patterson (Ashley Johnson) dressed in full formal attire as she attends one of the exclusive parties hosted by the group. Patterson is the head of the FBI’s Forensic Science unit tasked with identifying the meanings behind Jane’s tattoos.
The promo also shows a sneak peak of the secret society members gathering to plot and execute their devious plan. In the midst of a party, members dressed in hooded robes of rich red perform a mysterious ritual that may kickstart some trouble for Jane and the rest of her allies.
‘Blindspot’ season 2’s episode 14, titled “Borrow or Rob,” is scheduled to air on NBC on February 15, 2017. It will be followed by episode 5, titled "Draw O Caesar, Erase a Coward," scheduled for February 22.
