‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 11, titled "Genetics," is set to follow Jamie and Eddie as they are caught in an adoption struggle between a child’s parents and adoptive parents. The two will enlist Erin’s assistance in solving the case to avoid it being taken to court.
The synopsis for season 7 posted on TV Guide reads, “An adoption case gets complicated for Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray), so they want Erin's (Bridget Moynahan) assistance to prevent the case from going to court.
Meanwhile, Frank (Tom Selleck) investigates reports of cadets cheating on psych exams; and Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) learns of Jack's (Tony Terraciano) plan to enter the Marines.”
Jamie and Eddie’s story arc seems to be getting more interesting since the two confessed their feelings for each another. It doesn’t seem like the incoming episode will feature a romantic development between them since it would focus mainly on their involvement in a complicated adoption case between the child’s birth parents and adoptive parents.
The two will eventually find it necessary to enlist Erin’s help in solving the case outside court proceedings. According to Cartermatt, the adoption struggle may end up with the birth mother getting arrested for kidnapping her biological son.
Meanwhile, Frank is set to look into reports of cadets cheating on their psychological exams while Danny discovers that Jack plans to enlist in the Marines after graduation.
‘Blue Bloods’ season 7’s episode 11, titled "Genetics," is scheduled to premiere on CBS on January 6, 2017. It was directed by Alex Chapple and written by Allie Solomon. It will be followed by episode 12, titled "Not Fade Away," scheduled for January 13.
The American police procedural and legal drama television series was created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess. It premiered on CBS on September 2010 and was renewed for a seventh season last March 2016.
