“Boruto” Chapter 29 is going to be an interesting development in the shonen series as it’s set to pit Koji against Naruto. The excitement stems from the fact that Koji is believed to be the deceased mentor of Naruto, none other than the famed Jiraiya himself.
Although this is pretty much a speculation at this point, readers are still convinced that Jiraiya is alive due to several reasons. One of these is that Jiraiya’s body was never found when he died trying to procure the Red Moon Scroll. There’s also the fact that the previous chapter saw Koji entering the barrier of Konohagakure with ease, indicating that he may have been part of the village at some point in the past. “Boruto” Chapter 29 will shed some light on the true identity of this mysterious character as Koji is expected to run in with Naruto during the storyline.
The Kara member has come into the village to take back Kawaki and return him to the organization. But given that Naruto is keeping a close watch at the youth, Koji is likely going to run into the village’s seventh Hokage. And if the speculations hold true, this meet up in “Boruto” Chapter 29 will be an interesting development indeed.
Another reason why audiences are led to believe that Koji and Jiraiya are one and the same is that he is skilled in using Rasengan, as well as the ability to summon a giant toad. Both of these abilities are the trademark of Jiraiya and it’s safe to assume that only a highly skilled ninja is capable of achieving such skills. Hopefully, “Boruto” Chapter 29 will provide more information about the character as fans are still in the dark at this point regarding the identity of this supposed villain.
Jiraiya has always been portrayed as someone who is able to infiltrate secret organizations and extract the true nature of certain factions. And since Kara has a deep interest in Kawaki, it would be prudent for Jiraiya to know the purpose of this powerful alliance. “Boruto” Chapter 29 will be released on Nov. 26 and fans can’t wait for the inevitable run-in between Koji and Naruto.
