“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 105 will once again focus on Mitsuki. The member of Team 7 is experiencing some serious issues that will convince him it is time to pay Orochimaru a visit.
Subtitles in the “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 105 video preview reveal it is titled “A Wound on the Heart.” Meanwhile, prominent manga and anime translator Organic Dinosaur translates the title, based on a Shonen Jump teaser, as “Opening Emotional Scars.” These practically have similar meanings and both suggest that Mitsuki is suffering from something that is not visible to the naked eye.
The short preview of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 105 shows Orochimaru quite surprised that Mitsuki comes to the laboratory on his own. But this is only because Mitsuki knows something is not right about his body. He is not physically injured but it will not take long before Orochimaru realizes something is not right.
Orochimaru, who was the clone template in creating Mitsuki, realizes that the genin is frequently having dreams in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 105. The preview shows Mitsuki lying on one of the lab bed to be examined by Orochimaru and Log. Even more bizarre is the fact that his recurrent dream is about the time he first saw a photo of Boruto.
It is very likely that the cause of Mitsuki’s issues will be revealed before “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 105 ends. But both the published teaser as well as the video preview suggest that the dreams and Mitsuki’s bad state could be related to what happened to him lately.
One of the recently concluded arcs in the anime revolved around Mitsuki’s disappearance. In it, he was presumed kidnapped, then a supposed traitor, until it was learned that he remained loyal to Hidden Leaf though he left Konohagakure on his own will. It was a physically and emotionally straining experience for Mitsuki especially after fighting Ku and having to defeat Sekiei, a synthetic human who became his friend. So it would not be much of a surprise if Orochimaru makes a connection between this past experiences to Mitsuki’s present issues. “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 105 will air on May 5.
