“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 marks the start of a new arc focused on Chocho Akimichi. And, based on spoilers now up online, her story begins with finding romance.
New Mission Leads to Chocho’s Chance at Love
The preview for “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 reveals that Team 7 and Team 10 are going to be assigned to a guarding mission. They will be tasked to protect two actors who recently received a death threat.
The members of Team 7 are Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki while Inojin, Shikadai, and Chocho belong to Team 10. The “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 preview also hints that the female members of the teams will be slightly distracted at first. They will be starstruck with the subjects of their missions, who are Tomaru and Ashina — famous actors and onscreen lovers.
However, Chocho will be the one most affected by the presence of Tomaru, to the point that she will want him to be her boyfriend. According to the spoilers, upon having feelings for Tomaru, Chocho will feel conscious about her body. So, in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67, fans are also likely to see Chocho using the Akimichi clan’s popular technique known as butterfly transformation to achieve a slimmer body.
Chocho’s new appearance is also shown in a printed teaser for the upcoming arc focused on her. The same “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67 teaser also described Tomaru to be a handsome actor. Fans can already see a glimpse of Chocho’s new love interest in the preview above.
It is still not clear if Chocho will remain in her new appearance for good. But fans will likely see her this way even after “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 67.
