“Boruto” Episode 80 is going to be an interesting episode for fans of both the current and the previous Naruto series since there are elements that mirror each other in recent developments. With Mitsuki choosing to go with his would-be kidnappers and attacking Boruto, his actions mimic that of Sasuke. This episode will also mark Lord Ku’s attempt to get rid of the Tsuchikage in an ambush.
A synopsis for “Boruto” Episode 80 is featured over at Comic Book alongside its coverage of critical plot details with regards to the upcoming episode. This is essentially when Lord Ku finally makes his move against the Hidden Stone’s Tsuchikage after her call with Naruto. This episode could even confirm that the arc’s main antagonist is a relative of the Tsuchikage.
“Mitsuki refuses to return to the village with Boruto and the others, and instead wish to continue on with Kokuyō’s group. During this, Sekiei’s become more ill, and his condition also worsens. In order to help the suffering Sekiei, Kokuyō heads in the direction of their comrades, and during this time Sekiei says to Mitsuki “I want you to teach me about humans”. Around this time, Kurotsuchi, the Fourth Tsuchikage, is looking after her grandfather, Ōnoki, who’s health is in shambles, when she is attacked by a group of unidentified people," the synopsis reads.
Fans have been speculating that Lord Ku might be Ōnoki’s grandson who was presumed dead in the original Naruto anime. Since the Mitsuki arc is not included in the manga, it’s basically anything goes at this point. Hopefully, “Boruto” Episode 80 will have the answers.
Speaking of the Mitsuki arc, OtakuKart speculates that the development is only halfway through. There will likely be a few more episodes to go before this whole thing is finally wrapped up. “Boruto” Episode 80 will air on Nov. 4.
