Anime fans will be looking at another character’s will in “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 86. The next installment is titled “Kozuchi’s Will” which implies that the viewers will be learning more about Onoki’s beloved grandson.
The “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 86 preview and leaked synopsis further suggest that the fans will learn more about Kozuchi. There are very little details known about Onoki’s grandson. All fans know at the moment is he was killed at the age of 12 because of a war that happened that time.
Boruto learned that Onoki has been working with the evil genius named Ku. Together, they started making artificial creatures they call Akuta. This is Onoki’s idea of maintaining peace and preventing casualties of war. But there is something very dark about Ku that makes fans doubt that he is genuinely on the same page as Onoki. In “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 86, Onoki will lead Boruto to a certain location in Hidden Stone possibly to convince the justify his actions to the young ninja.
Onoki can be heard in the “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 86 preview telling the titular character that he is “carrying on Kozuchi’s will.” He then adds that he just wants to fulfill Kozuchi’s wish.
This could mean that “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 86 will be filled with several flashback scenes where the viewers can find Onoki and Kozuchi during their happy moments. There is also the possibility that the episode will reveal just exactly how Kozuchi died and what could be his dying wish that fuels Onoki’s present agenda.
Meanwhile, the “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 86 teaser also shows a scene where a bunch of Akuta is parading in the streets of Hidden Stone. While Onoki is hoping to maintain peace, the villagers are visibly afraid of these creatures that are unknown to them.
“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” episode 86 is expected to be released on Sunday, Dec. 16. It is still part of the Mitsuki arc and it is safe to say that fans cannot wait for it to end.
