The official “Boruto” chapter 43 release date would be arriving a couple of weeks from now. However, that’s not stopping fans from making their own predictions and speculations on what might happen to the manga’s upcoming installment.
Sakura’s attack won’t kill Boro
In the previous chapter, Sakura was able to identify where Boro’s core is located. She then used Chidori to prevent Boro from regenerating again. However, many believe that the attack might only damage the core but won’t affect too much of the Kara member’s fighting prowess in “Boruto” chapter 43.
“What's sure is that Boro can't be defeated simply because he might have lost his core... his body is still intact,” A-Liguria wrote on Reddit. “I believe that he may decide to end things for good after this, it shouldn't be difficult either, since he was pretty much dominating the fight and the team 7 is getting more and more tired.”
A Team 7 member might sacrifice
In “Boruto” chapter 43, Boro would remain a formidable foe even without his regeneration ability. In fact, many fans predict that he might even force at least one member of Team 7 to make a sacrifice so Naruto can be rescued.
“It seems to me in the next chapter that Boro will somehow deal with the Chidori, and Team 7 will have to retreat,” Reddit user u/Ramiz1998 wrote. “Kawaki and Boruto create a portal and want to take Naruto with them, which is why Kawaki or Boruto sacrifice themselves to distract Boro, and Boro takes Boruto or Kawaki erasing his memory. Chapter 43 ends with the Kawaki (Boruto), Sarada and Mitsuki go through the portal with a Naruto jug.”
Boruto might show his skills
Most fans are satisfied with how Boruto’s teammates fought in the latest chapter. “Sarada was absolutely amazing (no doubt the MVP),” Redditor GeekWars2 noted. “Kawaki was as crazy-powerful as always. Also, Mitsuki displayed great versatility and gave everyone a fighting chance with the antidote.
However, many believe that the lead character’s performance was not as spectacular as that of his teammates. “Meanwhile, Boruto felt like the only team member who was expendable,” GeekWars2 added. “He didn't add anything to the so-called "team-play" besides the extra bit of damage.” Hopefully, Naruto’s son might have the chance to show off his skills in “Boruto” chapter 143.
“Boruto” chapter 143 will be released on February 20. Stay tuned for more updates.
