“Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” has just concluded the fight between Boro and the new Team 7 in the latter’s attempt to rescue Naruto. Another potentially explosive fight is brewing in “Boruto” chapter 44 as Koji Kashin declared he will take down Jigen.
‘Boruto’ chapter 44 prediction: Why Koji Kashin is unlikely to defeat Jigen
Manga fans have seen both these characters fight, so they have an idea of how powerful they can be in combat. Based on that, it does not look good for Koji. He showed his combat prowess against Konohamaru in an earlier chapter while Jigen did so too against Naruto and Sasuke. From these instances alone, it is easy to figure out who will emerge a winner in a Jigen and Koji match in “Boruto” chapter 44.
Some may argue that Koji has a better fighting chance since Jigen has not even regained 10 percent of power back, as Amado stated in chapter 43. However, it is bear mentioning again that Jigen pummeled Sasuke and Naruto together. While he drained his power and cracked his vessel, he left that battle looking well while Sasuke was forced to retreat and Naruto was left to die. These factors could explain why Koji could be starting a fight he will not overcome in “Boruto” chapter 44 even though Jigen has yet to regain his total strength.
It is also worth noting that Jigen has karma and he is the vessel of Isshiki Otsutsuki, which explains why Naruto and Sasuke did not stand a chance against him. And it might also prove how much of a threat karma seals can be if Jigen manages to defeat Koji with just 10 percent of his power back.
Meanwhile, if this is another one big fight in the manga, it is also unlikely to conclude right away in “Boruto” chapter 44. Fans might even get some flashbacks to Koji’s previous life and real identity to explain what motivates him to kill Jigen.
‘Boruto’ chapter 44 release date
Manga readers need a little more patience as “Boruto” chapter 44 is not slated to drop in a few more weeks. The series gets a new chapter every month, and the 44th installment is scheduled to arrive on March 20. The official English translation can be accessed for free on Manga Plus and Viz websites and mobile apps.
