In “Boruto” chapter 45, Konoha might finally gain an advantage over Kara, that mysterious organization that the village has been waging war against for the most part of the manga series. But recent plot developments suggest that Momoshiki might be on the verge of making his comeback which could be a big threat to the village.
One of the factors that will give Konoha an edge over Kara is the arrival of Amado. In “Boruto” chapter 45, the Kara scientist is expected to make his pitch to Konoha leaders so that they’ll accept his defection.
Amado’s value to Konoha is the information about Kara that he is willing to hand over in exchange for his defection in “Boruto” chapter 45. With detailed information on their enemy that includes the identity of Kara’s members and their abilities, the village could make appropriate plans on how to deal with the organization.
But even without Konoha’s interference, the future of Kara seems to be uncertain. The relationships between its members are far from harmonious. In fact, “Boruto” chapter 45 might feature a fight to the death between two of Kara’s strongest members, Jigen and Koji.
After his recent fight against Naruto and Sasuke, Koji is still recuperating and is said to be at less than 10 percent of his strength. Koji, who was harboring plans of disposing of their strong leader, deemed it the perfect opportunity to carry out his assassination.
If Koji and Jigen’s fight will be featured in “Boruto” chapter 45, it might finally reveal the reason why Koji wants to kill Jigen. Thus, the upcoming manga installment might show a brief backstory for Koji and Jigen.
But even Konoha successfully defeats with Kara due to Amado’s information, there is a far greater threat to the village. This time, the source of the threat lies closer to home as it could unexpectedly come through Boruto.
The danger was already apparent to the members of Team 7 during their fight against the Kara member Boro. Faced with such a formidable fighter, Mitsuki, Sarada, and Kawaki could only watch in awe as Boruto singlehandedly defeated Boro.
His teammates also noted that Boruto seemed to be a different person during his fight against Boro. The fact that he can’t remember anything heightened their suspicion that Momoshiki might be on the verge of completely taking over Boruto’s body. Is Amado’s defection connected to Momoshiki’s imminent comeback?
