An all-new mystery needs to be tangled coming into “Boruto” chapter 45. Amado surprisingly defected to Konohagakure right when Jigen is about to be attacked by Kashin Koji.
‘Boruto’ chapter 45 predictions, spoilers
The latest chapter also showed that Amado has far more control over the members of Kara than just being their “doctor.” He may have a one-button control that can deactivate the bodies of the Kara members. Considering that he also helped in fixing Jigen’s body, Amado may be sure about Jigen’s looming demise at the hands of Kashin in “Boruto” chapter 45.
Jigen has always been portrayed as a very strong character, so it seems unwise for Amado to defect to Konohagakure while Jigen is still alive. But it now seems like Amado has more secret buttons to manipulate the bodies of the Kara members, including Jigen and Kashin, as shown when he made Delta “sleep” with only a voice command. It even surprised Kashin and made him think that he might have also been programmed that way.
In that case, Amado might also have a hidden kill switch for Jigen and even for Kawaki since he has been the “doctor” of Kara members. These new developments and clues about Amado suggest Jigen’s possible defeat and death in “Boruto” chapter 45.
Meanwhile, “Boruto” chapter 45 will very likely pick up from the scene where Amado declared he wants to defect. The next installment might then include a sequence where Naruto interrogates Amado and more about the latter’s backstory is revealed.
On the other hand, there is also a huge chance for Jigen to survive if Kashin attacks him in “Boruto” chapter 45. Fans should keep in mind that Isshiki Otsutsuki is just using Jigen as a vessel. Boruto’s karma showed just recently that even with the vessel having a small amount of chakra, the Otsutsuki using them as a vessel can still help them win a battle with very little effort.
