While most fans are waiting to see how Naruto’s final form will stack up against a fully resurrected Isshiki in “Boruto” chapter 52, it might not be the only they could get. After learning more about how the Otsutsuki clan operates, it now appears that Momoshiki has more reasons to help Boruto.
‘Boruto’ chapter 52 plot predictions: Will ‘Borushiki’ help Naruto?
To recap, Boruto figured out that Isshiki cannot kill him. Back in Konoha, Amado was explaining to Shikamaru and the others that Otsutsuki clan members always go to a planet in pairs to plant a Divine Tree and subsequently harvest the Chakra Fruit. Aside from the Ten-Tails that practically serves as a seed, the process will not be successful without sacrificing an Otsutsuki. Amado then deduced that Isshiki could be planning to use Boruto as the sacrifice once his body is taken over by Momoshiki.
The latest chapter established that Momoshiki has overwritten Boruto’s body by 80% and that Amado’s theory was correct, and Isshiki has no plans to kill Boruto. Back when Team 7 and Kawaki fought Boro to rescue Naruto, Momoshiki briefly took control of Boruto’s body practically saving them. It is then possible that Momoshiki could also carry out the same plan Isshiki has, which provides a good reason for “BoruShiki” to show up and help fight Isshiki in “Boruto” chapter 52.
Naruto’s final form jumps into action
Chapter 51, on the other hand, ended on a cliffhanger suggesting that Naruto will do most of the fighting in “Boruto” chapter 52. Kurama told the Hokage that he has one final form to activate and it could give them a chance at defeating Isshiki. The caveat, however, is that Naruto will die once he uses this form.
This new information and Naruto agreeing to activate this form without hesitation is quite a vivid foreshadowing that his death is looming. The manga already showed a sneak peek of this form in the last panel of chapter 51, so it would not be surprising if “Boruto” chapter 52 will focus on this instead of having Borushiki deal with Isshiki.

The good news is “Boruto” chapter 52 is just a few days away from being released. Whether it is Naruto or Borushiki fighting, the installment is an important one and could dictate the fate of Isshiki and Konoha. Fans around the world will be able to read its English version for free through Manga Plus and Shonen Jump on the Viz Media website on Friday, Nov. 20.
