The upcoming “Boruto” episode 119 is the conclusion of the Konohamaru arc. Konohamaru is the focus of the current anime storyline where a new character named Lemon was also introduced. The lady was initially thought to be Konohamaru’s new love interest, but it appears that her situation will let the Konohagakure ninja to learn new techniques possibly. “Boruto” episode 119 will be Konohamaru’s ultimate test in this arc.
‘Boruto’ episode 119 spoilers: Can Konohamaru save Lemon and her village?
To recap, Lemon comes from a noble family tasked to protect their village from the monster called Souma. For hundreds of years, their descendants have been marrying to keep Souma’s soul sealed. Otherwise, the monster will be let loose and will be absorbing everyone’s memories. In “Boruto” episode 119, Lemon is set to marry her childhood friend Kankitsu to follow this tradition.
However, the synopsis of “Boruto” episode 119 (via the translations of OrganicDinosaur) reveals that Souma’s soul will be set free in the middle of the marriage ceremony. Meanwhile, it can be recalled that Boruto and Konohamaru both figured out that it has been Kankitsu who was stealing memories from the people of Daidai Village recently. That gives them enough time to travel out of Konohagakure and arrive just in time at the wedding.
‘Boruto’ episode 119 release date, plot: Will Konohamaru stop Souma?
The teasers for “Boruto” episode 119 also confirm that there will be a battle between Souma and the ninjas of Konohagakure. As Lemon mentioned a couple of episodes ago, Souma does not have a physical form, making it impossible to attack the monster with a weapon. Unfortunately, even the use of ninjutsu is reportedly not helpful.
Coming to “Boruto” episode 119, Konohamaru was studying some sealing techniques as taught by his grandfather. Since the arc is named after him, he might pull off a move that would save Lemon and her village from Souma. Boruto, being the main protagonist of the series, might also be the one to end the fight.
“Boruto” episode 119 will air on Sunday, Aug. 11. Meanwhile, the next episode will be exciting as Boruto sneaks out of Konohagakure to find Sasuke in the Wind Country. The premise of their meeting is still unknown, but it has something to do with Urashiki Otsutsuki.
