“Bosch” season 5 is long overdue considering the fact that it was on hiatus for almost a year now. The fourth installment concluded in April of last year thus fans are patiently waiting for the next sequel.
The good news is that filming for “Bosch” season 5 is complete already so the premiere date is expected to be announced very soon. Likewise, the filming wrapped up a few months ago thus it will not be long when the waiting will officially end.
And while Amazon Prime Video is not yet releasing “Bosch” season 5, it has another surprise for fans the drama’s avid viewers. The company confirmed season 6’s renewal and it was reported that its production is already in the works.
The chairman of Amazon Studios for television, Albert Cheng, also commented on the renewal of “Bosch” season 6. “We are happy to continue to work with Fabrik, Michael Connelly, and the rest of the team on this artful procedural drama,” he said in a statement.
Michael Connelly, “Bosch” season 5’s show producer also verified the reports by saying, “I’m on the set where we are wrapping up the filming of Season 5. And now, this great news that we get to do it again with a sixth season. Can’t wait!”
When “Bosch” season 5 airs, fans will see the new cast in Amazon’s original police procedural drama. Firstly, Chris Vance has been added to serve as the program’s new villain named Dalton Walsh, a drug syndicate leader.
He will be joined by Bianca Kajlich as a series regular on “Bosch” season 5. She will play an important character as Christina Henry, the newest detective.
Lastly, Ryan Hurst will also appear on “Bosch” season 5, another investigator who is likely to work with Harry Bosch although they have a cold relationship. The premiere date for this drama is yet to be announced.
