CICERO, Ill., March 09, 2016 -- Broadwind Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ:BWEN) today announced $28 million in new tower orders from a U.S. wind turbine manufacturer. Broadwind will produce these towers in its Manitowoc, Wisconsin facility for 2016 delivery.
Broadwind interim CEO Stephanie Kushner stated, “Our experienced team in Manitowoc has built more than 2,000 wind towers since 2008 for multiple customers. We continue to be in late-stage discussions to fill the remaining capacity for 2016 and beyond.”
