‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 4’s episode 10, entitled “Captain Latvia,” is set to follow Jake and Charles as they unexpectedly face a Latvian Crime Ring in the process of searching for a Christmas present. Meanwhile, the team prepares to beat the MTA in the annual caroling competition.
The synopsis for “Captain Latvia” posted on TV Guide reads, “Jake (Andy Samberg) helps Charles (Joe Lo Truglio) search for a Christmas present for his son, but the pair end up facing off against a Latvian crime ring in the process. Elsewhere, the team prepares for their annual Christmas carol competition against their rivals, the MTA.”
Charles will be enlisting Jake’s help in finding his son’s favorite toy as a Christmas present but the two will come across a crime ring on their holiday hunt. Charles has an adopted Latvian child named Nikolaj (Antonio Raul Corbo) with his partner Genevieve (Mary Lynn Rajskub). It seems that holiday plans will take an unexpected turn in the incoming episode.
Meanwhile, the team at back at the precinct will gear up for the annual caroling competition and have set their sights on beating their rival, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. According to Citizen Oracle, the team already went head-to-head against opposing groups such as Fire Department and the Post Office in previous seasons.
‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ season 4’s episode 10, entitled “Captain Latvia,” is scheduled to air on Fox on December 13, 2016. It will be followed by the two-part season finale, entitled “The Fugitive,” scheduled to air on the network on January 1, 2017.
Since the police sitcom’s premiere on September 2013, it garnered numerous accolades including two Creative Arts Emmy Awards and two Golden Globes Awards, one for Best Television Series Musical or Comedy and one for Andy Samberg for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for his performance as Detective Jacob Peralta. Andre Braugher has also been nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards for his role as Captain Raymond Jacob "Ray" Holt.
