Burger King is introducing a trio of chicken sandwiches, each inspired by a different part of the world, which it is calling its International Original Chicken Sandwich lineup.
Each of the three versions of the Original Chicken Sandwiches is offering a different taste experience.
The Mexican Original Chicken Sandwich includes a breaded chicken patty topped with spicy queso sauce and crispy jalapenos on the classic long sesame seed bun.
The American Original Chicken Sandwich includes a breaded chicken patty topped with lettuce and mayo on the same classic long sesame seed bun.
Then there is the Italian Original Chicken Sandwich whose sesame seed bun is loaded with a breaded chicken patty topped with a couple of slices of mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce.
The new offering comes after the whole Ch’King fiasco and the less than enthusiastic response to the Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich that replaced it.
All three sandwiches will be available at Burger King nationwide starting January 5.
