Albany, NY, July 11, 2017 -- The New York State Department of Health (DOH) has released the results of its 2016 Quality Incentive Payment Award, and CDPHP achieved the highest total points among all of the plans in the state.
CDPHP has made a concerted effort to engage its Medicaid members through outreach efforts such as embedded case managers, strong partnerships with community-based organizations, and community health workers, and these results are a reflection of those efforts. In addition, a strong payer-provider partnership, such as the one CDPHP has with its physician network, goes a long way in helping members receive the care they need.
This award will be used for the programs and services that CDPHP has to assist its Medicaid population. In addition, CDPHP will use the information to determine new ways to improve the health and well-being of its Medicaid members.
The DOH compiles the points based on four factors – quality measures, member satisfaction, prevention quality indicators, and compliance.
