Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. reported third-quarter net product sales of $185.7 million, up from $133 million a year earlier, and raised its 2026 outlook, lifting its full-year target for its rare-disease medicines.

The new range replaces the $680 million to $700 million forecast Mirum issued in August. Third-quarter net product sales were $133 million in the same period a year earlier. LIVMARLI net product sales rose 45% to $133.4 million, while bile acid medicines recorded net product sales of $52.3 million, up 28%.

Mirum President and Chief Operating Officer Peter Radovich said adult progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC) was the largest contributor to the guidance increase, with growth in Alagille syndrome and bile acid products also contributing. On Mirum’s Nov. 3 call, Radovich said greater disease awareness and genetic testing could help improve PFIC diagnosis.

Mirum had $500.5 million in unrestricted cash, cash equivalents and investments as of Sept. 30, compared with $391.4 million at the end of 2025. Chief Financial Officer Eric Bjerkholt said the commercial portfolio’s cash contribution margin was in the upper-50% range during the quarter. He said the company used about $4 million in operating cash during the quarter. Chief Executive Officer Chris Peetz said commercial performance and pipeline progress positioned Mirum to be cash flow positive in 2027.

Mirum said it had begun the U.S. launch of ATEBRIOZ, approved for fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva. The company plans to seek approval for volixibat as a treatment for primary sclerosing cholangitis, with a new drug application planned for the first half of 2027. Its release lists AZURE-4 data for the fourth quarter of 2026 and VANTAGE data for the first quarter of 2027.
