DALLAS, March 30, 2016 -- COPsync, Inc. (NASDAQ:COYN), which operates the nation's only law enforcement in-car, real-time information sharing and data communication network and the COPsync911™ threat-alert service for schools, government buildings, hospitals and other potentially at-risk facilities, is joining forces with Ambassador Jack Brewer and his business development firm, Brewer + Associates Consulting, for brand development and expansion purposes. Amb. Brewer and his team will be working with COPsync to assist in overall national expansion strategy and efforts as well as signing new brand endorsers to help open doors in targeted metropolitan cities with the goal of assisting law enforcement officers in making our communities safer and stronger.
In an effort to assist law enforcement officers in creating safer and stronger communities, Ambassador Brewer, in partnership with COPsync, The Blue Alert Foundation and a number of former and current NFL athletes, will be launching the Trust 2 Protect initiative and campaign in New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Texas, Florida, and nationwide.
The mission of Trust 2 Protect is to close the growing trust gap between law enforcement officers and the communities they serve by bringing together community leaders, local governments and influencers focused on finding solutions that increase safety for both officers and citizens. “I want children to look up to police officers as role models and heroes, just like they do athletes and celebrities, and to trust them and their commitment to safety,” commented Ambassador Brewer. The Trust 2 Protect initiative will focus on identifying concrete solutions that help bridge the gap dividing law enforcement and citizens by:
- Engaging directly with police departments across America that are dedicated to ensuring fair, just, and transparent practices.
- Empowering these departments by making them aware of the latest technologies, products, and services that are in alignment with our mission.
- Promoting the work of our numerous brave men and women in blue that risk their lives in the line of duty.
Ambassador Brewer served as captain on two NFL teams, the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants, and was a special teams Pro Bowl candidate as a rookie. After completing his fifth and final year in the NFL in 2006, Amb. Brewer worked as a Wealth Manager with Merrill Lynch. In 2009, Amb. Brewer founded The Brewer Group, Inc., which focuses on making strategic principal investments into public and private growth companies that have a positive impact around the globe. In 2014, Brewer was named Ambassador for Peace & Sport for the U.S. Federation for Middle East Peace (USFMEP) at the United Nations for his philanthropic work that focuses on the empowerment of women and children, while promoting peace and development through sport.
