Canada’s Ivey Purchasing Managers Index rises in February

Canada’s Ivey Purchasing Managers Index rose in the month of February from the prior month. The corresponding figure for February 2017 and February 2016 was 55 and 54.4, respectively. The index for employment came in at 52.4, while for inventories it came in at 52.4.

Supplier Deliveries index came in at 53.7 in February, while price were 64.2. The Ivey PMI unadjusted data for the month of February was 58.4, whereas for employment and inventories it came in at 58.4 and 51.3. The unadjusted figures for supplier deliveries and prices came in at 51.4 and 68.2.

At the end of January 2018, the Ivey Purchasing Managers Index had come in at 55.2, whereas the corresponding figures for January 2017 was 57.2 and for January 2016 was 66. The employment index for January was 56.5, while for inventories it was 58.4. Supplier Deliveries were 46.4 and prices were 66.6.
