VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 04, 2017 -- Carl Data Solutions Inc. (CSE:CRL) (FSE:7C5) (OTC:CDTAF), a developer of Big-Data-as-a-Service (BDaaS)-based solutions for data integration, business intelligence, and Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) applications, is pleased to announce that it has developed an app to enhance environmental monitoring at mines. The application, which has been used at Teck's Fording River Operations in British Columbia’s Elk Valley, helps to monitor site water levels and also provides predictive modelling to forecast future water levels up to seven days. Weather, water flow and snowpack levels are just some of the data gathered and analyzed by the app.
Carl Data took their popular FlowWorks application for water monitoring which is powered by Carl’s powerful BDaaS, and adapted it to accommodate Teck’s environmental monitoring needs.
Greg Johnston, Carl Data CEO, commented, “We are excited to work with Teck to develop this app as we continue our growth into the mining sector. Carl Data Solutions was founded on the idea that innovative technology could increase the overall effectiveness and functionality of data by providing better insights through accessibility. By adapting our Flowworks application to handle a diverse array data sources and sensor information, we are extending the coverage of our SaaS based platform in other industry verticals and continuing to expand our IIoT offerings to business and government.”
