Celebrity to be Investigated for Ties to Namyang Dairy Products’ Heiress Hwang Hana on Her Drug Use Case

Hwang Hana

Hwang Hana, the controversial granddaughter of Namyang Dairy Products’ owner and JYJ’s Park Yoochun’s former fiancee is involved in a drug case where she was accused of using methamphetamine. She was already arrested and the investigation is ongoing since the authorities are trying to uncover from where she obtained the prohibited drugs

Hwang Hana was arrested on April 4 because she did not appear before the court after receiving a subpoena from the police. She was sent a letter three times and she seems to have ignored them all and this led for the prosecutors to issue her arrest warrant.

It was alleged that aside from using drugs herself, Hwang Hana also supplied .5 grams of meth to her friend. She is also being questioned for sharing illegally taken video footage to her friends via KakaoTalk.

Now, Hwang Hana is claiming that it was her celebrity friend who offered her the drugs and said that she was only forced to take them. In connection with this allegation, the unidentified celebrity friend would have to be investigated as well whether he or she likes it or not.

After her arrest, the police learned that Hwang Hana used drugs on at least 2 to three occasions. Her most recent drug use took place just early this year based on the report. It was added that the police already acquired enough evidence that proves Hwang Hana and her celebrity friend are drug users.

Meanwhile, Hwang Hana is also facing another case of drug-related offense. MBC’s “News Desk” reported that the heiress supplied the drug Philopon to a college student in 2015. The receiver was only identified as “Cho” and it was said that back then the ‘chaebol’ lady did not receive any punishment because she bribed the college student and paid him KRW100 million or around US$87,500 to take the blame for the offense.
