"Chicago Fire” season 7 may have promised the continued bliss between the usually star-crossed love between Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) but “Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 4 may have other things in mind for Firehouse 51's fan-fave couple.
The episode summary for “Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 4, titled “This Isn't Charity,” was recently released and sheds some light on the Severide-Kidd relationship a little deeper into the show's current installment. According to the summary, Firehouse 51 will be dealing with a citywide alert due to multiple explosions. But it seems that the city of Chicago isn't the only thing that will be rocked unexpectedly as Kidd will have an “old friend” come to visit her during the episode.
While details have yet to be released regarding the upcoming guest star who will be playing Stella Kidd's friend for “Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 4, the episode's title can help fans speculate on why the character will suddenly enter Kidd's life once again. The character could potentially be someone to whom Kidd owes some sort of favor, or potentially someone she has committed to for a financial obligation.
Considering that Kidd's backstory has yet to be fully explored beyond her marriage overlapping with Severide's playboy shenanigans, “Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 4 would be a great time for the series to flesh out who Stella Kidd is and where she came from. It would be interesting to see how Severide will react to being introduced to Kidd's world growing a little bigger. Also, if Kidd's friend turns out to be dangerous to her, it would be interesting to see how Severide will react to the situation.
Fans looking forward to learning more about Kidd's past and how it will affect her relationship with Severide can catch “Chicago Fire” season 7 episode 4 when it airs on Oct. 17.
