Chick-fil-A has expanded its seasonal offerings with the addition of two banana-flavored beverages: the Banana Pudding Milkshake and the Banana Frosted Coffee. Available until November 16, these limited-time drinks bring unique flavors to the chain's popular menu.
Chick-fil-A Expands Seasonal Menu with Two Banana-Flavored Drinks Available Until November 16
Chick-fil-A is widely known for its chicken sandwiches, but as America's third-largest fast-food chain, its offerings extend beyond breaded poultry. Among its popular items, the half-tea, half-lemonade Sunjoy has become one of the industry’s most iconic beverages, while the recurring peach milkshake is a summer favorite. The chain offers two new seasonal drinks: the Banana Pudding Milkshake and the Banana Frosted Coffee, officially added to the menu on August 26.
These new beverages are available until November 16 or while supplies last. Chick-fil-A has also recently launched the Spicy Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich for those not interested in these banana-flavored options.
For fans of banana flavors, the new drinks may seem particularly enticing. The Banana Pudding Milkshake and Banana Frosted Coffee offer two distinct takes on a familiar flavor, but one stands out more.
Banana Frosted Coffee
A shake and iced coffee combination is made with cold-brewed coffee, Icedream, banana, and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles. This is a new addition to the menu, though the frosted coffee has been a regular offering since 2016.
The combination of banana and coffee is an unusual pairing, and the Banana Frosted Coffee may appeal to only some. The drink, priced at $6.09, lacks a strong flavor and presents a distinctive texture. It might be an acquired taste for those willing to try something different.
Banana Pudding Milkshake
The Banana Pudding Milkshake features Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream dessert blended with real bananas and crushed vanilla wafer cookies. It’s topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Initially introduced in 2011, this milkshake is a beloved seasonal item that returns yearly, joining the vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and cookies-and-cream milkshakes on the menu.
As a fan of banana pudding, the Banana Pudding Milkshake is a more exciting option. This shake is a must-try for banana lovers. However, an insulated cup or sleeve could better manage its condensation. At $6.19, it’s a worthwhile indulgence for those who enjoy banana-flavored desserts.
