Chobani announced it has appointed Scott Hadley as the managing director for its Australian and New Zealand business units. The well-known American food and beverage company is a major player in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Finding the Perfect MD
As per Bit Perfect, Chobani is excited to have Hadley on the team. He is also coming in at a time when the company is trying to establish a strong brand presence in the said regions. The firm's chief believed they hired the perfect person who could lead the Australia-NZ team to the next phase of their journey in the F&B business.
Chobani aims to produce high-quality, nutritious food and make it accessible to more people. It also aims to promote wellness in communities. Currently, the company is doing business in various territories, including Idaho, New York, Michigan, and Australia, and its yogurts, oat milk, and other products are available in North America and other select markets.
Highly Experienced Executive in the Industry
Chobani welcomes a veteran leader to help manage its operations in Australia and New Zealand. He has been in the food business sector for decades and will bring the expertise he accumulated from working with other major food companies, such as TasFood, where he led the company as CEO.
Before this, he also held senior roles at Cadbury Schweppes, Asahi Beverages, GlaxoSmithKline, TT-Line Company, and the Fosters Group. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Since entering the market in 2011, the team has accomplished the impossible -- we have built an Australian brand based on our Chobani values and we are now widely known for delivering food that is delicious, natural, and nutritious," Chobani's founder and chief executive officer, Hamdi Ulukaya, said in a press release.
The CEO added, "We have created new standards and expectations for what good food can be for Australians. As we thought about the leader we needed, it is clear Scott is the natural choice to lead the team in this next phase of our journey. He is proven and inspirational and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Chobani family."
Scott Hadley, the newly-appointed executive at Chobani's Australia-NZ unit, commented that he genuinely looks forward to working with the Australian team that has built an "incredible organization and culture." Lastly, as he takes office as the new MD, he hopes to expand on these exceptional foundations and "continue to disrupt the industry and drive this business and category forward."
