Citizens Financial Group, Inc. reported 10% year-over-year revenue growth in the third quarter of 2026, while higher long-term rates weighed on tangible book value, according to its earnings release.

The bank booked $2.322 billion in revenue, up from $2.118 billion a year earlier. The release gives the increase as 10%. GAAP diluted earnings per share were $1.41.

At $35.78 a share, tangible book value ended 6.6% lower than in the second quarter. Citizens attributed the decline to the negative effect of higher long-term rates on its investment securities and swap portfolios.

The company said it returned $322 million of capital to shareholders during the quarter and increased its dividend to $0.52 per share. The dividend is scheduled for payment Nov. 13, 2026, to shareholders of record Oct. 30.
