CLEARWATER, Fla., March 23, 2017 -- On March 19th, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church included a special presentation in its service. Joel Rambo, a volunteer for United for Human Rights (UHR) Florida, a group supported by the Church of Scientology and headquartered in downtown Clearwater, received an award from Church Women United, an organization affiliated with Mt. Zion UMC and which celebrates unity in diversity and working for a world of peace and justice. The award acknowledged Mr. Rambo for his many talks and hours of work in support of human rights.

Cristian Vargas, the Executive Director of UHR, and Dylan Pires, Community Affairs Officer for the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization, also participated in the special service.
United for Human Rights
Given the immense scope of the problem, the Scientology-sponsored United for Human Rights is in the vanguard of human rights education and information. It is the world's largest nongovernmental human rights education campaign, active in 192 countries and partnering with 1,500 groups and organizations. Its purpose: To raise awareness and implementation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and its 30 articles. The movement is inspired by the words of L.
