The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV), supported by the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization, invites all area children and families to participate in its 26th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for over 25,000 candy filled eggs in beautiful Coachman Park, downtown Clearwater.
Pam Ryan Anderson, President of CCV said, “This Hunt is a very popular one and happens exactly at 12:30 pm sharp. So parents, grandparents and guardians be sure to arrive before 12:30 pm so your children are in position for the hunt which will be over in minutes.”
For 26 years, CCV, the Church of Scientology Flag Service Organization and the City of Clearwater, along with other sponsors, have held this very fun and exciting Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Clearwater’s beautiful Coachman Park.
Also hidden in the grass, children will find 275 Golden Eggs which they can turn in for a stuffed bunny.
In addition to the main event, there will be pony rides, a petting zoo, LOTS of face painting, train rides on the “Bunny Express”, a gyroscope, giant slide, a large bouncy house and a bouncy house for the little ones too. There is a small fee for some of these attractions. Plenty of good, affordable food is available to purchase so plan to have a picnic in the park before or after the hunt. The Easter Bunny and his Mrs. will wander around for photos with families.
The event is free and everyone is welcome, but be sure to bring your Easter basket! Free parking is also available in the parking lot to the South of Coachman Park.
CCV:
The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) was established in 1994 by parishioners of the Church of Scientology with the purpose of helping to create a better community for all citizens of Clearwater and Pinellas County. CCV raises money to feed homeless and hungry children in Pinellas County through Public Defender Bob Dillinger’s program, Nourish to Flourish, The Sheriff’s Youth Ranch and The Sheriff’s Police Athletic League in Lealman. CCV has raised money, food and toys for family and children’s charities such as The Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, Inc., Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida®, and The Children’s Home, Inc. CCV gets its inspiration from the precept “Love and Help Children” one of the 21 precepts found in The Way to Happiness - A Common Sense Guide to Better Living by L. Ron Hubbard.
