Swedish meat alternative brand Oumph! unveiled a special edition plant-based burger for Halloween that resembles ‘human meat’ to temporarily join its extensive product line.
The Halloween burger, made from soy, mushrooms, wheat protein, plant-based fats, and a spice mix, will be available from Saturday 30 October at Nytorget, Södermalm, Stockholm.
The company also offers meatballs, spare ribs, sausages, and döner kebab.
Oumph! co-founder, corporate chef, and head of innovation, Anders Linden, said their Halloween burger ultimately and weirdly shows that it’s possible to create any kind of food by using just plants.
He added that the company immediately developed the products as soon as they knew their desired taste and texture.
