OTTAWA, Jan. 31, 2018 --
Corsa Technology, the leader in high performance network security and SDN switching, today announced a new systems integrator partnership with SynerSolutions Technologies Inc. As a result, Corsa will extend its reach to new partners and customers in the North American market.
Corsa Technology is an innovator in highly programmable at scale network security. Corsa’s Red Armor (NSE7000) devices are in-line appliances that create a single solution to simplify and automate many network security workflows. Corsa addresses the missing piece of an automated threat protection system: While software and analytics create actionable intelligence, it has not been possible to take automatic enforcement actions in the network with the scale, programmability and precision required. Corsa Red Armor is a unique platform that closes the loop on adaptive response systems and allows SynerSolutions’ customers to take automatic action - enabling line rate dynamic network protection against cyber threats for any number of sources.

Red Armor is a long-awaited innovation in network security and embraced by SynerSolutions, a service company specializing in information security, storage technology, consulting and emerging technologies. SynerSolutions’ prime focus is assisting customers in creating security ecosystems that help deal with the known and unknown threats currently threatening IT environments and business assets.
“Corsa is rapidly changing the network security scene. Because our platforms are designed to universally integrate within current network security ecosystems, we can enhance SynerSolutions’ existing customer deployments while opening up new avenues for innovation. SynerSolutions is a perfect partner for us because of their experience in creating and deploying new architectural concepts for their broad base of customers in North America,” says Tim Kline, Senior Director of Business Development at Corsa Technology. “Together with SynerSolutions we will be able to deliver next generation network security that stands up to escalating threats."
“Corsa’s portfolio of network security products delivers new systems solutions for our customers who are telling us that the status quo for network security isn’t keeping up with the growing threat landscape. By leveraging the Corsa Red Armor NSE7000 series of equipment, we can integrate programmable traffic classification and powerful line-rate per-flow forwarding together with precision enforcement, all at internet scale, into our customer’s security solutions. We are able to build the automated, real-time network security that our customers are demanding,” Jerry Glowka, VP Emerging Technologies, SynerSolutions.
The Red Armor NSE7000 platform is built on patented Corsa SDN technology. It is a family of transparent, in-line L3/L4 network security devices. With full line-rate performance, and ultra-precise flow processing, NSE lets you control any packet with any operator-defined rule and with a wide choice of actions: accept, drop, rate-limit, copy, redirect, GigaFilterTM ACLs and more. The ability to program hundreds of thousands of different rules, with REST or full BGP FlowSpec support, and have the network respond at a per flow level gives control back to the network architects and security engineers who can now define policy, flag anomalies through rigorous analytics and automatically shut down bad flows at any scale and at any point in the network.
