The new Mobile Staff Terminal is now included as a standard component of Critical Alert’s Nurse Call System, and will enable hospitals and healthcare organizations to port staff station functionality to any device connected to a hospital’s network including mobile computers, smartphones, tablets, or wall-mounted touchscreen devices. The Mobile Staff Terminal provides caregivers and other staff with the mobility and flexibility to review requests & messages, complete workflow tasks, cancel alarms, create ad-hoc tasking, track rounding progress or run-through reminders on any device convenient to their location. The Mobile Staff Terminal then automatically updates Critical Alert’s Nurse Call system tracking, reporting, and workflow statistics to reflect the latest status.
“We are excited to be demonstrating the integration capabilities and mobility of our new Mobile Staff Terminal at ANCC MAGNET, and how it can significantly streamline the day-to-day clinical workflow of nurses and staff,” stated Suzanne West, RN, Director of Clinical Services for Critical Alert Systems. “By closely integrating our software with devices and systems already deployed within the hospital, we are helping to improve the quality of patient care while also reducing alarm fatigue for hospital staff.”
