MinerGate, a multi-cryptocurrency mining pool, has announced the support of Ethereum classic mining for all popular operating systems through the MinerGate GUI miner, Ethminer and Genoil.
According to the official post, MinerGate encourages its users to welcome the ‘old new’ cryptocurrency and consider its mining along with the ‘mainstream’ Ethereum and CryptoNote coins.
MinerGate GUI miner is the easiest and fastest way for Ethereum mining having both CPU and GPU. Users can create an account with MinerGate and start mining by just downloading the updated GUI miner. In case of Ethminer, users can download it from official sources for their OS. Genoil is a popular Ethereum fork available in open CL and CUDA.
In May, MinerGate released a 1-click GUI Ethereum pool miner. The MinerGate team developed an app that allows any user to utilize their system’s CPU and GPU power. Besides mining, MinerGate also offers the ability to safely store and transfer cryptocurrencies, which automatically turns it into a comprehensive Ethereum service.
MinerGate mining pool is created by a group of cryptocoin enthusiasts. It is the first pool which provides service for merged mining. This means that while mining on MinerGate, you can mine different coins simultaneously without decrease of hash rate for major coin.
