“Cyberpunk 2077” is expected to deliver solid gameplay and an emotional storyline as highlighted by one of the trailers that were recently released. What’s more, the game has also been developed as a pure first-person shooter, with its cutscenes set in that view as well.
And after the release of “Cyberpunk 2077,” CD Projekt Red will also be releasing a multiplayer version of the game as announced by the studio’s official Twitter page. So what can we expect from this one?
Will the studio add a Battle Royale mode? Capture the flag? Or maybe “Cyberpunk 2077” will offer a completely different experience.
Cyberpunk 2077 unlikely to feature Battle Royale mode
At the moment, it’s difficult to deduce what the developers are planning since they’re maintaining their silence about the multiplayer option. However, there’s a huge chance that “Cyberpunk 2077” will not go down the Battle Royale route as the developers previously said that they aren’t interested in that particular mode. They’ve also confirmed that the game will not have microtransactions on it to the relief of the gaming community, Comicbook reported.
Cyberpunk 2077’s three character origins
With regards to the origin of the main character, players will be given three options. They can either start as a Nomad, a Corporate Agent, or a Street Kid. Nomads in “Cyberpunk 2077” are those who embody the good guys. You’ve been raised by people who have integrity and honesty, something that is alien among the inhabitants of Night City.
Corporate agents are those who have a deep understanding of how mega-corporations work. You are cold, ruthless, and dangerously effective. But for some unknown event, “Cyberpunk 2077” will have you point your expertise against the very corporations that you’ve served most your life.
Finally, Street Kids are those who have been raised by gangs. You’re familiar with everything that’s been happening within the darkest corners of Night City. As a Street Kid, you’re knowledgeable on how to navigate the dangerous avenues of “Cyberpunk 2077” and will likely have a negative opinion on megacorporations that rules the city.
Regardless of what option a player chooses, they’ll be flung in the heart of the narrative that will have them take on threats ranging from dangerous gangs and people from the echelons of power to a mysterious AI that’s inhabiting the dark web. “Cyberpunk 2077” is slated for release on April 16, 2020, with pre-orders already available.
