Czech Statistical Office published retail sales data for October which showed Czech Republic seasonally adjusted sales in retail trade at constant prices decreased by 0.3 percent month-on-month in October.
Sales adjusted for calendar effects increased by 3.1 percent, year‑on‑year, non-adjusted were 2.0 percent up. The latest rate of increase was the lowest since July, when sales had risen 1.7 percent.
Retail sale, excluding automobile trade rose an unadjusted 2.0 percent year-over-year in October, much slower than the 5.0 percent climb in September. Sales of food, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores increased 1.3 percent on year and sale of automotive fuel alone grew by 4.4 percent.
