The fight against Muzan will get livelier in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 193. Tanjiro will attempt to execute a combination of attacks against Muzan, but will they be as effective as Yoriichi's?
Previous “Demons Slayer” manga theories have insisted that Tanjiro’s dream-like experience must be important. There were speculations that his ancestor’s memory much has taught him how to use the thirteen form somehow, a technique that he’ll use against Muzan in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 193.
It turns out that those speculations are actually half-right. In “Demon Slayer” chapter 192, the memory did not exactly tell Tanjiro what the thirteenth form is but it gave him clues on how it might be done.
The memory gave him the chance to perfect the twelve techniques he already knew. The forms were a bit different when performed by Yoriichi however. There were slight differences in wrist angle, hand placement and breathing which made Tenjiro realized the areas that he needs to work on.
As a result, Tanjiro was able to greatly improve his forms during the brief period that he was unconscious. The improvement of his fighting skills will become even more apparent as he continues to slug it out with Muzan in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 193.
Before Yoriichi left, he gave his earrings to Tanjiro’s ancestor, who promised to pass them down and the breath of the sun to future generations. It is the same set of earrings that Tanjiro is wearing today, which makes him Yoriichi’s inheritor.
But as Tanjiro pondered on what the thirteenth form could be, he suddenly got an inspiration. “Maybe the twelve forms are repeated in succession and that becomes the 13th form,” Tanjiro theorized.
He began to test it out with Muzan. The more he fought, the more he realized that the forms are all connected from the waltz to that sounding form.
As they fought, Muzan began to hallucinate and he will sometimes see Yoriichi’s image in Tanjiro. Meanwhile, Tanjiro was getting more convinced that his hypothesis is correct – each form connects to the next one.
In “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 193, Tanjiro will finally attempt to combine all twelve forms and use it to attack Muzan. But will he be able to successfully execute the moves as perfectly as Yoriichi did in the past?
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” 193 arrives on February 8, 2020. Stay tuned for more updates.
