“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 201 is expected to reveal whether or not Tanjiro, who currently has no pulse and isn’t breathing, will survive. The chapter will also reveal if Nezuko still has leftover healing ability after turning back into a human.
‘Demon Slayer’ chapter 200 recap
Despite being the most powerful demon, Muzan was ultimately defeated by members of the Demon Slayer Corps in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.” After it was hit by sunlight, Muzan’s giant baby form slowly disintegrated into thin air until nothing of the demon was left.
But the Hashiras had to pay a steep price for their victory. Most of them are seriously injured and a few know that they won’t make it alive.
One of those who believe that he is beyond saving is the Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima. When the medics started to cure him, he calmly refused treatment. “It’s alright, don’t use the medicine,” the Stone Pillar explained.
“It’s already too late for me to waste your precious medicine on,” Himejima spoke while his face was disfigured by a wound that span from his right eyebrow to his left jaw. “Go find some other young people please, as my final wish.”
He was startled to see so many familiar faces looking back at him. Apparently, they were the ghosts of his former students who came to apologize to him about an event that happened in the past. “Let’s go,” the told the ghosts as the medics tending to him noted that he no longer had a pulse.
Iguro was holding a bloodied Kanroji due to her injuries. He confirmed that Muzan is dead when she asked if they won.
But Kanroji is already at death’s door. “My body doesn’t even hurt,” she told Iguro. “I think I’m going to die soon.”
“I’ll die soon too, you won’t be alone,” Iguro comforted Kanroji. The two reminisced on the day they first met until Kanroji confessed she likes Iguro. She proposed that they should get married if they’re reborn as humans.
Meanwhile, Genya Shinazugawa was dreaming about his dead siblings and parent while still unconscious. However, his father pushed him away as he was about to join them and explained that Genya can’t join them yet. He then woke up shortly.
On the other hand, Tanjiro was freed when Muzan’s giant baby form dissolved. However, it appears that being inside the flesh of the giant baby had negative effects on him as he was no longer breathing. In fact, medics confirmed that Tanjiro does not have a pulse at the moment.
‘Demon Slayer’ chapter 201 predictions
The biggest question that will be answered in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 201 is whether Tanjiro survives or not. Previously, he has been poisoned by Muzan’s blood and it is possible that being inside the giant baby’s flesh might have worsened his condition.
Nezuko was seen rushing to her brother in the previous chapter. However, she has already reverted back into a human so it’s unclear if she still has the ability to heal Tanjiro at this point.
“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” chapter 201 will arrive on April 5. Stay tuned for updates.
