'Demon Slayer' Season 4 Release Date, Cast and Spoilers: Everything We Know So Far

Many fans are now thrilled for the forthcoming “Demon Slayer” Season 4. Tanjiro Kamado, as a newly minted demon slayer, has a lot more slaying to do, and the same is true for the show.

Prior to “Demon Slayer” Season 4, “Kimetsu No Yaiba,” the anime based on Koyoharu Gotouge's manga, quickly established itself as one of the all-time greats, boosted by the amplifying impact of being one of the finest anime on Netflix. Viewers have seen Tanjiro, a poor charcoal merchant, survive his family's slaughter and train to become a master demon slayer, taking on the different ranks of monsters who fill Japan's nether realms.

‘Demon Slayer’ Season 4 Release Date

It has been confirmed that “Demon Slayer” Season 4 is happening. The announcement for the imminent fourth installment was made at the end of the Season 3 finale, so devoted followers of the hit anime series can expect more demon-dueling mayhem.

Fans won't need ten guesses to figure out what that banner revealed - it was, of course, the announcement of “Demon Slayer” Season 4. Not only that, but the “Demon Slayer” team has stated that the Hashira Training story arc will be adapted.

While this was all the information the developers were prepared to share, avid followers of the anime series don't have to be upper-level demons to figure out that more slayage is on the way. So far, there has been a two-year delay between each shorter season, implying that new episodes would most likely appear in early 2025, per Digital Spy. However, now that rumors of an early production start have been proven, that schedule may accelerate quicker than a Mugen Train.

All of the regular Japanese and English voice performers will return for “Demon Slayer” Season 4, barring any complications behind the scenes, including Tanjiro Kamado voiced by Natsuki Hanae and Zach Aguilar (English); Nezuko Kamado voiced by Akari Kitô and Abby Trott (English); Inosuke Hashibira voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka and Bryce Papenbrook (English); Zenitsu Agatsuma voiced by Hiro Shimono / Aleks Le (English); and Muzan Kibutsuji voiced by Toshihiko Seki and Greg Chun (English).

Kagaya Ubuyashiki voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa and Matthew Mercer (English); Water Hashira, Giyu Tomioka voiced by Takahiro Sakurai and Johnny Yong Bosch (English); Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji voiced by Kana Hanazawa and Kira Buckland (English); Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito voiced by Kengo Kawanishi / Griffin Burns (English); Flower Hashira, Kanae Kocho voiced by Ai Kayano and Bridget Hoffman (English) and; Tsuguko Kanao Tsuyuri voiced by Reina Ueda and Brianna Knickerbocker (English) are also expected to make a comeback in “Demon Slayer” Season 4.

‘Demon Slayer’ Season 4 Spoilers

Without giving anything away, it appears like “Demon Slayer” Season 4 will adapt the Hashira Training arc, which takes place in Chapters 128 to 136 of the original manga series, per The Direct. Here's the synopsis for fans who want a sneak peek:

"Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come. The training to become a Hashira – a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps – is intense and demanding. Earning Himejima's approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won't give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki."

It wouldn't be surprising if “Demon Slayer” Season 4 goes above and above by addressing the Infinity Castle arc, at least in part. While there won't be enough time to cover all of Chapters 137-183, expect some of it to begin before Season 5.
