Digital currency exchange Kraken adds Gnosis trading

Cryptocurrency exchange platform Kraken announced that it has started trading for Gnosis (GNO) tokens, after GNO tokens are released to ICO auction buyers on 1st May, 2017.

Gnosis pairs including Gnosis-Ethereum (GNO/ETH), Gnosis-Bitcoin (GNO/BTC), Gnosis-U.S. Dollar (GNO/USD) and Gnosis-Euro (GNO/EUR) will be available for trading in the Kraken platform. The announcement stated that the order books will be enabled sometime in the few hours before tokens are released and traders can start placing buy orders at that time.

“Earlier, Kraken partnered with the Gnosis team to allow auction buyers to purchase GNO directly through the Kraken platform. These buyers will have their GNO deposited directly to their Kraken accounts when tokens are released and can begin trading at that time,” the announcement added.

For users who have bought in the auction through Kraken, can deposit GNO directly to their Kraken account when all ICO tokens are released. In case they didn’t buy through Kraken, users can create a GNO deposit address and then send their deposit to this address after receiving ICO tokens. On the other hand, if Kraken has facilitated after-market participation for users, their GNO will be credited to their account shortly following the release of all ICO tokens.

The Gnosis ICO auction took place on April 24 and was sold out at a valuation of 0.6 ETH per GNO (around $30 USD at that time). 416,667 GNO were sold in the auction to raise 250,000 ETH (aprox $12,500,000 USD at the time).

Digital currency exchange Poloniex has also added the support for Gnosis tokens in its platform. In addition to Poloniex and Kraken, GNO tokens are being traded on Bittrex, Liqui, HitBTC, and BX Thailand.
