Hina finally woke up after five years of being in a coma. Now that the series is ending, it has one big question to answer – will Hina agree to what Rui and Natsuo decided for her in “Domestic Girlfriend” chapter 276?
‘Domestic Girlfriend’ chapter 276: Will it be a happy ending for Hina and Natsuo?
For a quick recap, the penultimate chapter confirmed that Rui brought the marriage certificate for Hina and Natsuo. The latter then went down memory lane and “proposed” again to his first love. But if fans learned anything for the past month, it is that it’s best not to get too attached with an obvious outcome, especially with “Domestic Girlfriend” chapter 276 as the ultimate ending for the series.
The expected and obvious outcome would be for Hina and Natsuo to get married in “Domestic Girlfriend” chapter 276. However, considering Hina’s memory turns out fine, the series could leave fans with one final plot twist.
Before the accident, Hina did the best she could to avoid a scandal to ruin Natsuo and Rui’s wedding plans. That means, even though she has not moved on yet, she was sincerely working on helping his siblings happy. Hina could react in different ways – other than happily accepting the proposal – upon seeing that they are no longer a couple in “Domestic Girlfriend” chapter 276.
It would not be surprising if Hina says no to the proposal and be the one to make Rui and Natsuo realize their actions, including the marriage thing, might have just been fueled by guilt. This, of course, could lead to a Natsuo-Rui endgame or that neither of the female protagonists ends up with their step-brother. On the other hand, series creator Kei Sasuga can also opt for the easiest and obvious, albeit controversial, route in “Domestic Girlfriend” chapter 276 that is Hina and Natsuo’s happy ending.
‘Domestic Girlfriend’ chapter 276 is the grand finale of the series
ComiXology tags “Domestic Girlfriend” chapter 276 as the “end” meaning it would serve as the grand finale for the series. Luckily, there would not be any break before it comes out. Fans can see how Sasuga decides to end the story on Tuesday, June 9. The chapter will also be released on Crunchyroll.
