“Dr. Stone” chapter 24 is the end of season 1, and because of this, fans are already talking about the next installment. The last chapter is still about the villager’s need to make a communication device that will allow them to talk with their allies so they can attack Tsukasa in an organized manner and succeed.
As per Fandom, “Dr. Stone” chapter 24 has been titled “Voices over Infinite Distance,” and it will show how the villagers with the help pf Senku and Chrome are able to get everything that they need before launching an attack against Tsukasa. At this point, they only needed to create a cellphone, but this info is really upsetting the villagers because they all have worked hard for months and up until now, they still have to work some more.
Plot Summary
To build the mobile device for communication, Senku, Chrome, and the villagers will work on creating radio waves in “Dr. Stone” episode 24. While working, Ruri’s word triggered a memory that made Senku remember an episode in his life - from the past, but it is not sure how this will affect their work and planned attack on Tsukasa.
Also, since they managed to build the radio waves, the villagers eventually created entertainment devices that exist in the modern world. Senku also built a phonograph first, and this allowed them to hear the voiced of astronauts for the first time since everyone was petrified.
When everything is ready, Senku declares a stone war against Tsukasa in “Dr. Stone” episode 24.
Will there be season 2?
Since “Dr. Stone” episode 24 is the last chapter for this season, it was said that the second season has already been confirmed. Monsters and Critics reported when a teaser about an important announcement was posted Weekly Shonen Jump two weeks ago, and many believe that this is about “Dr. Stone” season 2’s renewal. There is also a post on Chinese’s social media Weibo about the next installment, but this was deleted at once, which further raises the assumptions that season 2 is coming.
“Dr. Stone” episode 24, the finale, was released on Dec. 27 in Japan. The English version has yet to arrive on Feb. 1, 2020, via Toonami.
