“Dr. Stone” chapter 129 will continue with the conflict going on in the island. It was surprising that Mozu, who is very powerful, was petrified alongside Kirisame. With their defeat, another character has an intention to steal the petrification weapon but may not succeed as well.
Backstory before Mozu was petrified
The things that will happen in “Dr. Stone” chapter 129 will become clearer with the backstory. It will show the events that took place five years ago when the villagers led by Amaryllis were making their move to flee.
As posted on Dr. Stone’s Fandom, Amaryllis is a member of the Petrification Kingdom, a group residing on the Treasure Island. Later, she decided to team up with Senku as they have the common goal of toppling the Harem and Minister Ibara, who have been really abusive.
Unfortunately, while escaping, Mozu and Kirisame suddenly showed up to stop them. Although Amaryllis and the villagers defeated the two by petrifying them, they cannot go anywhere since Ibara already found out about their plans.
What will the villagers' next move be?
They were not able to escape on their first try, but in “Dr. Stone” chapter 129, they may succeed. This is because all this time, Amaryllis was trying to take the petrification weapon and put them away from the hands of the villains, but she will need more backup to succeed.
Realizing that she needs all the help she could get, Kohaku made up his mind to join forces with Amaryllis and her team. He will be helping them out with infiltrating their opponent’s turf so they can steal the weapons and seek freedom.
“Dr. Stone” chapter 129 will also show Senku helping Amaryllis even if he doesn’t completely think that she will attain victory. He and his team sent her the tools she will need for her plans while still aboard the ship, Perseus, which was already captured by Ibara.
Additionally, Kohaku has more reasons to hate Ibara now because the leader of the Petrification Kingdom just destroyed the statues of her friends. Meanwhile, The Anime High posted that “Dr. Stone” chapter 129 will arrive on Nov. 10.
